HOLIDAY!Start of the holiday today. very happy about that. had a phone call from my top boss who said i could have the whole month off if i want. went to the ward and they said "well only if we move wards". really they are deluded. we are moving and the ward is closing, simple as that, except it. crazy. went to gig after work last night that was sweet. tom, els bro, had his first gig with his band and i was cool. even cooler it was off oxfrod circus and the pheonix bar.
been chilled today me and el chilled and went to the park near hers and what a beautiful day for it. took some photos. hada coke in a dodge jerk chicken pub in the cross then brought everything fior a good old fry up. yummy...dicided to go to the cinema thi afternoon and we saw borat. funny as
f@?k. aslo very disgusting. but well worth a watch, he brought to are attention how some americans can be so stuck in their ways. ill as no more but watch. went home and watched a couple of episodes of shameless with ele then drove her home. as the gent i am. and recided to the jam circus for a pint, emails and genrally downloading anything i can as yet to sort out internet at home. life is swell and am happy in the new pad . going to see the parents at the end of the week and say goodbye to a dear friend and his mises who are going to travell the world together for 8 months. am well jelious, wish it was me. night all....x
BANG BANG!!!!Fireworks banging all around. and im at work. from the ninth floor it looks and sounds like a war zone accross the capital. and sounds like one. went to els house party last night and felt a bit worse for were this morning. work gas been fine today nive and quiet just how we like it. last day on this ward tomorrow as ive heard the ward is to close down. tis very crazy but have been told i have a job on another cancer ward. hopefully got one month off from monday but definatly have two weeks off. house is well sweet feeling properly settled at last. blew a few hundred at ikea with a poorly en-tow. shes feeling better today so thats all good. need to arrange a house warming for close friends. plan on doing a roast soon too.
been getting into a bit of snooker with the boys although the cross snooker hall has cross people in there sometimes. riding bike in the cold isnt all that fun when you lose the backend from having cold tyres. think ill proberbly get out of work early tonight. but a s i said its the last day tomorrow. then chill.
missing out on an oncology ball tonight but i really couldnt be arsed to pay 50 notes to go be posh hotel in a tux and look like an idiot. and probably get drunk in front of the head bosses who are hopefully giving me new job next week. it is really hard to understand that they are closing a cancer ward as we were supposed to be the 2nd biggest in the country. mood on the ward is low as some people have been here for litrally years and myself only 2 months. life moves on though.
